US Whitewater Center

One-day trip to US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, North Carolina

The US National Whitewater Center is an official Olympic training facilty for whitewater slalom racing. It has the world's largest and most complex recirculating artificial whitewater river. Students have a choice of wide variety of whitewater, flat water and land-based activities - such as rafting, kayaking, paddle boarding, zip lining and rock climbing.

Day trip to the Raleigh Farmers Market

The Raleigh Farmers Market is conveniently located next to the NC State Centennial Campus. There is 30,000 square feet of space for North Carolina farmers to sell their fresh produce, plants, and specialty items. We will take a brief trip to the market so that you can see what the North Carolina farmers have available to you! 

Overnight trip to Asheville, North Carolina

Asheville, NC is an eclectic city located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. We spend two days exploring some of the tourist attractions of Asheville, with plenty of time for individual exploration of the city.

Overnight trip to Charleston, South Carolina

Charleston is a historic port city in South Carolina that is a popular destination for tourists. We spend two days touring some of the historic sites and cultural attractions, as well as providing free time for students to explore Charleston on their own and also spend some time on the beach.
