IEP students participate in a variety of fun and educational activities outside of classes. This is a great way to meet new friends and practice English in a relaxed and informal environment.
IEP student mentors join students on these activities. Student mentors are NC State students studying in degree programs. They are a wonderful resource to everything NC State.
Best of all, activities are offered to IEP students at little to no charge. In fact, most activities are completely free! In the past, students have participated in paintball, jumped at a trampoline park, and visited the nearby amusement park, Carowinds.

Every year, Raleigh is host to the North Carolina State Fair, a huge celebration of North Carolina agriculture with many rides, concerts, food, music, and FUN! The IEP takes students to this event every year FREE of charge!
